I had same problem as you. Actually when my computer came brand new I already had this error showing in event log.
I tried everything.. Uninstall, download from Dell and install. Or even tried installing through windows store and didn't work.
After struggling for so long, I think I figured it out.
Open services.msc, look for AWCCService and change delay start to automatic.
I think it is the timing of the boot up of the Alienware command center that is falling behind before the service started. Or the service is having conflict with using delay start.
For those that don't see error.. Look carefully.. It may show up as warning instead and windows error report is sending the report to Windows about it.

The path C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\DellInc.AlienwareCommandCenter_5.2.100.0_x64__htrsf667h5kn2\AWCC.exe
shows that the faulty app comes from the microsoft store, so , make sure you are logged in the microsoft store.
Some suggestions
you can:
Go in ms store ( logged in) .../donwloads and updates/ awcc and see if it's installed
or
run the troubleshooter: settings/update- security/ troubleshoot/advances troubleshooter/windows store apps and run it. and see if it can detect a problem.
or
go to settings/apps/ and find and click awcc (dell inc.)/ advanced options/ repair or reset or uninstall.
You could uninstall the whole awcc suite and re-install it again.
Lookup error on google 0xc000027b

Thank the Machine God in high heavens that I am not having this issue (I just restarted my R11 to test), because my AWCC literally just updated itself to 5.2.100.0.
Few things I might try if I were in your shoes:
Other than these I'm temporarily out of ideas. I do wish you sort out this problem soon.

Thanks Pizzabear, it solves the problem. The drawback if any is that the AWCC console starts automatically when booting. Do you see that as well ?

Noticed AWCC errors with combase.dll & twinapi.appcore.dll. Had these since I got the R10 8 months ago... I just ignore it as it doesn't seem to cause me any issues and AWCC functions with lighting control and fans the way I want.
Note:
I use Ryzen Master for over-clocking and NOT Alienware Command Center (AWCC)

Did you remove/reinstall AWCC from the Control Panel, or did you use the method via Dell support site? I did theirs the first day I had my R11 and it worked like a champ. It includes purging registry keys, something that a normal remove/reinstall won't generally do.

I have the same problem, after every start my new windows 10 system the AWCC.exe make the some error. Note: i have a new windows 10 pro x64 installation with the awcc-app!
I tried all options in services.msc and changeg delay start to all options (automatic, delay, off...).
