Aurora R11, dual RTX 3080?
I was wondering if I'm able to add an additional RTX 3080 via the additional port in my Dell? But put the additional one outside the unit probably via some risers, or SLI (I hear this wont work). Looking to mine some ETH with my unit. Does anyone have this config?

I did this in my Aurora R12, but had to use 2 risers as the machine would only recognize my riser-connected gpu's when plugged into the PCI-e X1 slots (slots 2 & 3 on the R12 motherboard). I wanted to leave one GPU plugged into PCI-e slot #1 (X16) but the card is so big that it covers the two PCI-e X1 slots, and when I tried plugging the risers into the PCI-e X16 slot, the PC didn't recognize the gpu.
Curious if anyone else got this to work.

SLI is dead and the X16 slot only runs at x8, and generally the risers won't work in the x16 slot so you'd be pushed to the x1 slots.
