Aurora R11, issue on startup

I have to turn on my new Aurora R11 like 5 times to get it to startup properly. I get a black screen only when I press the power button, or sometimes I get an Alienware logo and then a black screen. I also had a problem with my white keyboard’s “3” and “r” keys which both either didn’t work or would get pressed twice.

dell also sent me a replacement keyboard and picked up the one that had an issue for free.

Hmm I guess my one adapter was not powerful enough. It works normally in a different adapter just plug both the monitor and pc tower in elsewhere and that will fix the black screen on startup for the Alienware r11 desktop

The power cable and the monitor power cable need to be much longer also. That’s kind of annoying as someone who would spend another $50 for a longer cable.

I even unplug the power supply and plug it back in and this is the fifth time I’ve tried to turn it on. It turns on properly like 10% of the time. What?

Yea I didn't like the stock cables on my Dell monitors either.

HDMI 2 seems to be working I’ll post here again tomorrow if I have issues when I turn it back on again.

It worked today. Maybe it was the adapter plugin place change or changing from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2. Either way it worked. I will post here again if I have issues.

Hmm I plugged it into a different plug in the adapter and now it works and loaded properly. I don’t know why it would freeze when going into sleep mode?

I had no video at all on mine either with HDMI or DVI-D.  The video card seemed level and seated properly.  Once I removed the card completely and re-inserted it, everything worked fine.

Now my PC desktop froze when I walked away to eat. I turned it off and it won’t turn back on
