Aurora R11 liquid pump upgrade

Just installed the H60X RGB Elite 120mm, minus using the RGB. SO MANY ISSUES!! The top fan does not come on. If you do not plug in the original fan then you get a BIOS CPU_FAN error. You cant tell if the liquid is actually flowing or if anything is actually working. No guides anywhere with an in depth tutorial. Please help me.

White fan is what comes with the cooler, that was plugged into the FAN TOP with a Y splitter to original fan that I moved to the front of the PC, but it never came on. Only the original fan turns on. So I moved the Corsair fan to the FAN PUMP and it turns on. Is that a good thing, no idea.

Fan cpu cooler is plugged into the FAN CPU port on motherboard. Is it working, no idea.

Fan top is the original fan which is moved over to the front of the fan case in place of the HDD.

What happened to the original cooling solution?

Pump cable to CPU_FAN is correct. The SP Series fan that comes with the H60 is weak sauce, with low static pressure. Consider using the Corsair fan for your upper front intake and using the Dell OEM fan on the radiator. These should work with a PWM Y-splitter cable. Make sure to connect the Dell OEM fan to the 4-pin side of the Y-splitter, and then connect the Y-splitter to TOP_FAN.

I had the same problem. Bought the H60x and set it up “right”. I had fan error codes on boot up and the new fans wouldn’t power all the way up. Long story short I was able to get it all working but had to use the old fans, except the new front fan I bought which is wedged in there by the GPU.  I plugged the three pin from the block to the pump fan. Plugged the old radiator fan to the Top Fan.  Old front fan to the Front fan. The new fan to the CPU fan. I was getting the boot error all the way up until I plugged in the wedged fan to the CPU fan. I set up fan curves in AWCC.  IDK how or why but this works and does a great job cooling the system. No more fan error on boot!!!

@BigGameHunter    nice work . . . I think if you connect the 3-pin cable from the block to FAN_CPU you would not get an error . . . nothing needs to be connected to FAN_PUMP; but if you got it working, just enjoy!!
