Aurora R11, RTX 3090, PCIe slots

Hi,

I have an Aurora R11 with an RTX3090. I have one PCIe slot in use for a SSD adapter. I was wondering if there would be room for another one. It looks iffy and I'm unsure since the graphics card is said to take up "2.5" slots.

Thanks!

Awww, that looks like an open-venting fan instead of a blower fan on the rear 1/3 of the graphics card? If a 2.5" SATA SSD is installed in the caddy right beneath, would hot air overheat the SSD? :3

The air movement on the new FE GPUs is up (on the back axis), but it would still reduce air movement and contribute to chassis heat to some extent.  Standard airflow is pull from bottom and out the side.  This seems like the latter, at least where you see the heatsink

"This is a screen grab of the Dell Ampere graphics card schematic. It appears an SSD in the bottom would be safe."

Yeah, but the photo showing airflow is upside down.  You can tell by the orientation of the slot covers.  This is a standard non-fe double fan open air shroud.  The fan pulls air from the bottom and out the side of the gpu...  so whatever heat is generated by the 2.5" druve is being used to "cool" the gpu.  I mean it's not significant, but it does generate some heat, and obstruct airflow from the bottom vent of the pc case (the 2.5"  drive sits directly on the bottom vent.).
