Aurora R12, add memory for 128GB?

Hello. I am writing this as I am confused on how to add more RAM. I have a R12 Alienware PC. The processor is a 11th Gen intel(R), i7-11700F core, 2.50GHz, 2501 Mhz, 8 cores, 16 Logical Processors, and the GPU is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (Idk if these details are important or not but here they are in case they are). I have 2 slots of RAM being used, that total up to 16GB (this is what it came with when I bought it), and I want to increase the RAM. With that being said, I did research but still am confused on how to add more. I'm aware there are modules I can buy but I am unsure which one to buy that will work with my PC. I would like 128GB of RAM, but again, unsure what modules to buy and how I add them to my PC. I did check what dell said but I look on other forums and well, I am confused and just want clarification on what modules I can get that will work with my PC and how I add them.

Considering the specs of your rig as presented it is inconceivable to me how you could possibly benefit from 128GB of RAM. You are currently running 16GB (2 x 8GB) dual channel. It would be a substantial upgrade if your were to remove those 2 8GB modules and replace them with 32GB (2 x 16GB) still running dual channel. Unless you have some super unusual usage regime, if you were to add 128GB of RAM with an i7 non-K processor and an RTX 3060 graphics card, 100GB of RAM would be sitting around with nothing to do. You can check the Crucial and Kingston web sites for RAM compatible with your R12. Just be sure to run dual channel . . . 2 matching RAM modules.

Only guaranteed memory to work is the OEM memory.

Typically 128 GB of RAM for home desktop use is unusual, but you can upgrade if you like.

The OEM module information is in the FAQ.

This will be an expensive upgrade, so you might want to consider other options...
