Aurora R12, RTX graphics card?

Hello All,

Does anyone know if an Aurora R12 Ryzen supports an RTX card and if so, can I buy an upgrade for my Aurora R12? Do I need to order an RTX graphics card from Dell or can I buy a non-Dell supplied card?

Anyone have any ideas.

My Aurora has 16GB of RAM and conventional cooling, power output is 500W I think.

Kind regards

An Aurora R12 will take RTX cards if you can find them. The R12 limits the length of the card allowed. Also, your power supply will be a limiting factor. The RTX 3070 uses up to 220 watts. ZOTAC makes a shorter card with two fans; most of the others have three fans and are therefore longer.

And by the way, the Ryzen edition is an R10. I have one and really like it so far. The Ryzens use AMD microprocessors and have a different chip set on the MOBO to support the AMD cpu.

Its a GTX 1060ti or something like that, not RTX though. I want to upgrade so I can run Adobe Premiere Pro better and the new NVDIA Canvas apps actually
