I watched part of it, his 3dmark score was not much higher than mine, and I run an R10 3700X with an RTX 3080 in a different build.
To me the 75C on the GPU was a bit warm, not sure if that was an issue. Looks like CPU goes up to 80's when pushed on all cores, also high.
Since I only watched part of it, can't say if overall value is good or not. But for a 3090 top of the line configuration with top of the line price, it sounded underwhelming when compared to my own system.
Yeah same here. The key to these Alienware machines is to use the thermal offset manually and not the stock thermal settings. Either use the curves or manually slide to around 45-50% and use msi afterburners custom fan curve for the gpu. He was just using the stock performance setting and probably why he was throttling in most cases. Look im not a tech but I know what my Alienware machines like with the game I play which is DCS, not quit sure if that a triple A game or not.
