Aurora R13, missing rear upper fan?

Question

I've cleaned my r13 many times and never noticed that my R13 has no upper fan in the rear of the chassis. It was never there. What's up? Should certain models never have shipped with that fan?

If you have an air-cooled CPU, the top fan is not there, if you have a water-cooled one, it should be there.

It is interesting that they started including the VRM heatsinks with the air cooled model . . . at least in the promo photo.
