Aurora R14, AWCC stopped working, cannot reinstall
Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14
Hello all,
I was attempting to use the AWCC earlier this evening and noticed it was completely unresponsive to anything I tried to change. I attempted to troubleshoot this, eventually resorting to uninstalling AWCC. But now I can't seem to get AWCC to reinstall. I have followed the instructions and deleted the relevant folders, but after tying to reinstall it's just been saying AWCC package manger has been installed and not doing anything else and I seem to be at a loss. I updated my drivers and have tried installing AWCC several times, but it either says it has successfully installed (it hasn't) or tells me something interrupted the process. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Open Control Panel and look under Programs and Features . . . if anything that rhymes with AWCC is listed, use Revo Uninstaller to completely remove the program and clean out the registry.

So . . . a little more info; when you tried that . . . does that mean you found AWCC listed in Programs and Features and you used the Revo Uninstaller to delete the program, including the several iterations of selecting all of the detected registry entries and deleting those as well? . . . or something else?
Do you happen to have McAfee AntiVirus installed? If so, pull out the Revo Uninstaller.

This could be helpful. I use this easy method every few weeks (Easily fix broken Windows files now with System File Checker). May help you reinstall AWCC once system files are deemed uncorrupted.
