I'm having the same issues and tech support did the same thing for me. They told me to make sure everything in the back was pushed in all the way... for whatever reason. Still having issues with my R14. Customer support has been less than helpful with my computer only being a month old.
Had a technician out a few days back to replace the wifi card but the issue still persists (wifi on all of my other devices are fine) - so I think it's to do with something else in the machine. The card is the Realtek 8822CE
@user_201719 Quick Google research shows nothing but connection issues with that card, and it seems it's a very common card used by many OEM's.
I would replace it with an Intel equivalent and call it a day. Should be around $40 if you install it yourself, and I would get a WiFi 6 instead of 5 for future upgrades.
