Aurora R16, Corsair Commander XT

I have an Alienware R16. Since it was my first pc and did not know much about computers I got the cheapest version, which came with a fan and an air cpu cooler. After doing some research on how to potentially upgrade my PC since it got very hot, I came across a reddit post of an user who upgraded their R16 with a CORSAIR H100I ELITE LCDXT 240 BLK AIO. I decided to buy the CORSAIR - iCUE H60X RGB ELITE to replace the rear fan and the air cpu cooler. After installing I noticed that the fan and pumped work properly but I had nowhere to connect the RGB cables. So I got a COMMANDER CORE XT. After this my fan and pump's RGB turned on white. The iCUE software has not been able to detect my Commander XT (neither my pump or fan), neither my Windows Device Manager. So far I have tried getting an USB 2.0 Hub (since the Aurora R16 itself does not have any) and a USB 2.0 to USB-C adaptor, just like the reddit user recommended on his upgrades. Tried this with two different Commander XTs and so far nothing has worked.
Has anyone been experiencing this problem? with any similar products? Is this just an Alienware thing?

Internal female USB 2.0 9-pin | Internal male USB 2.0 9-pin (pass-through)

Needs to be connected to an internal USB 2.0 header. I am pretty sure that is not available on the R16 motherboard as they "OEM" it. R16 Motherboard

It also needs to be connected to a SATA power connector to power it up.

Without that you cannot see or control the Commander module.

@Vanadiel I got a USB 2.0 Header Hub as well, plugged it in and did not work. Fans spin and light up a white color, which means the Commander module is working (connected to a SATA). I just do not see the module on the Device Manager when I looked for it on the USB Controller, nor the ICUE software.

I must add that whenever I connect another random 9-pin into the USB 2.0-USB-C Adapter, the Device Manager does detect, just under an "error" notification.

It should work I guess if you use a convertor, but I don't know since I have multiple USB headers on my motherboard so I use them directly.

@Vanadiel Decided to just try and get the OEM parts instead. Stinks since the RGB is very limited. But thanks for your time!
