Aurora R16, CPU fan detect failure

I have the Alienware Aurora R16 desktop.  Bought it like 2 years ago.  I think in 2024.  I now get a "CPU Fan detect failure".  From what I saw, i could have an issue with the cooling fans on the top and/or a problem with the pump itself.  or there could be an issue with my BIOS not communicating right to the CPU.  It also had 3 options, with a CONTINUE, BIOS SETUP, and DIAGNOSTIC.  I dont know what to do in the BIOS SETUP and when go for the DIAGNOSTIC option, the computer will shut down before it can even finish.  I have tried replacing the two fans first so now im looking to replace the pump itself and i am having trouble finding a brand new OEM replacement.  So i am looking for one that is pretty much just plug and play.  I really dont want to have to make pieces fit.  Any suggestions?   I would also like to try to maybe fix the BIOS if that is the issue but i have no idea on how to do that or to even check to see if that is even the issue.

Thanks for your time.

If you can still use the pc meaning booting into Windows by pressing continue, test cpu temperature using HWMonitor app.

if temp is good consistently and not continuously rising after cold start, liquid cooler is good. The error is red herring d/t AI in bios.

if temp is not good that indicates cooler is indeed not working properly.  That does not necessarily mean cooler is bad but could also be motherboard pump header is not supplying correct power to drive liquid pump.  It may need Dell warranty repair if you still have it.

If you don’t have warranty and have 240 mm liquid cooler the oem part number is P8XPF
