Aurora R16, slow upload speed tests
I have 1G down and about 40Mbps up service with xfinity. Downloads are near 1G but uploads are about 4Mbps wired connection.
My other PC's connected wirelessly test about 700/ 30 for down/up.
When I switch Aurora R16 to wireless connection it's about 700/ 3 for down/up. Conclusion... any idea for the slow uploads and fix?

On some systems, disable Killer Network Services would help to resolve the issue.
Right-click Start, Then click Run, and type in services.msc. This will pull up a window that looks like the one below. Right-click Killer Network Service then click Properties. This will bring up Killer Network Service Properties (Local Computer). In the middle it states Startup type. Click the dropdown and select Disabled.

UPDATE:
Got 40Mbps uploads back by doing this
Killer app
status
settings
killer prioritization engine ( OFF)
smart access selection (OFF)
Double shot pro (OFF)
Will advise if anything changes as I monitor this.

On boot next day killer resets back to "ON" thus reducing upload speed. I'll check into how to remove killer.
BTW what is killer purpose?

In my experience ... killing network performance? It's like they have all these weird little things in their client-side software ... when we just need it fast/reliable and we do those things in the Router (but usually we opt-out there also).
I remember, when I first got my Aurora-R6 (and connected to my perfectly fine network ... it was mostly a Netgear NightHawk Router back then) ... I thought the on-board wired network card was bad. I remember almost having to install a PCIe NIC back then. It was doing that thing where it auto-negotiates to the wrong (lower) rate ... like only 10 or 100 (instead of 1000). Fiddling with drivers and settings (disabling stuff like you did above) got it working good enough.
Years later (after changing the Role) or maybe it was Windows-10 to Windows-11 upgrade is when I got deeper into it and did those more extreme driver things I mentioned in the other thread.
Usually, Killer-Networking cards are just Broadcom cards. Now that Intel bought Rivet-Networks, I think some use an Intel chipset.
