Aurora R16, WiFi issue

Hello all - my wifi is only showing 1mbps and sometimes 20mbps when in the same room my phones get upwards of 200mbps. I tried restarting the desktop, deleting the driver and then restarting for it to reinstall the driver, router restart, etc. Im not able to find a fix to this issue at all. Im not able to check with a hardwire because of how distant the router is.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.

Can you ID the adapter and any current drivers?

Try a few commands

WINKEY + R    type       cmd.exe    Shift + Enter

ping 127.0.0.1 & ping 13.107.4.52

ping 192.168.0.1 & ping 192.168.1.1

tracert 13.107.4.52

getmac & netsh interface ip show interface

netsh wlan show interfaces & netsh lan show interfaces

netsh wlan show drivers & powershell get-netadapter

ipconfig /all

Post anything NON personal, but hopefully relevant.

Its a desktop Alienware Aurora R16. WIndows 11

Intel AX 210. The driver was not updated but I updated it by downloading it from Intels website. Windows was showing that it was current. Version 23.170.0.1 is now installed.

Ping statistics for 127.0.0.1:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

Ping statistics for 192.168.0.1:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 3ms, Average = 1ms

Hi

Well there is a connection to the router, and an average of 1 ms is excellent.

So the ping times to .....

ping 13.107.4.52
PING 13.107.4.52 (13.107.4.52) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 13.107.4.52: icmp_seq=1 ttl=116 time=15.4 ms
64 bytes from 13.107.4.52: icmp_seq=2 ttl=116 time=15.8 ms
64 bytes from 13.107.4.52: icmp_seq=3 ttl=116 time=15.0 ms
64 bytes from 13.107.4.52: icmp_seq=4 ttl=116 time=14.4 ms

Hopefully should be better than mine.

The internet reports...

Features like Large Send Offload (LSO) and Windows Auto-Tuning, meant to improve networking, may have the opposite effect in certain configurations and can be disabled for troubleshooting.

Turn off metered connection mode and check for background apps or services consuming bandwidth.
