Aurora R5, CPU upgrade i5-8600K?
My R5's motherboard is Alienware 01NYPT, and the CPU now I am using is i5-6400. Can I upgrade it to i5-8600K? If the answer is no, does it have any recommendations for 8th generation CPU that I can upgrade to?

The R5 is only certified by Dell for Generation 6 processors. The problem is that even though the socket is the same as the i5-6400, the BIOS does not support it. And there is no BIOS update to accommodate Generation 8 processors. As a business model Dell has no incentive to keep upgrading a BIOS to accept newer processors. They will use the new CPUs in new Dell models.
