Aurora R6, graphics card upgrade help?
So today my Nvidia GTX 1070 that came with my Aurora R6 apparently broke so I'll be needing to replace it. I figure I might as well get a more updated one while I'm at it. Will a GTX 1660 TI be compatible with my desktop?
My computera Processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz
and it has 16GB Ram.
I'm not very tech savy so please let me know if there is any other information needed to help.

both 1660ti and 1660 will work great w i7-7700. they are a bit more efficient than 1070. system psu requirement is 50W less. 8 pin power connector is the same as 1070.
1660 is a bit better match (average “bottleneck” percentage 3%) for i7-7700 than 1660ti (6%). anything <10% is not considered bottleneck.
If your 1070 is a nvidia founder edition (single fan blower type), the cooling design of 1600 series is different (2 fans open air). there is no founder edition in 1600 series. when you choose a partner vendor of 1660ti, make sure the card’s physical dimension is similar to your 1070 so it will fit in the case.
