Aurora R6, i7-7700k, overclock

Hi I'm trying to figure out how to overclock my cpu, I got a pre built aurora r6. From what I've discerned you just need the k  so an i7 7700k should be overclockable.

You can set OC parameters directly from within the BIOS if you do in fact have a K processor.  You can also do it from Alienware OC control application.  Finally, you can install a 3rd party application like Intel XTU which has far more options than the previous two methods I mentioned.  There are limitations however; our Dell's can *kind of* overclock, but the voltage regulation algorithms used really don't lend to serious overclocking.

Hi,

I have R6 and i7-7700k processor. I had OC Controls working and last month my windows got corrupted and then I had to install new windows, I tried to install OC Controls and Command Center. But My OC Controls never worked, there is another thread for R7, they had it working by placing OC profiles  folder under C:/Program Data/Alienware/OCControls. But in that thread they have R7 profiles. Do any of you have R6 profiles and can you please share?

Thanks
