Aurora R6, upgrade HDD, #4

Question

I have an Alienware Aurora R6 that has a solid state drive with windows and all my software installed and a 2nd regular HDD for files & stuff. Is it possible to upgrade/replace that hdd with a ssd instead?

Would this be a difficult upgrade to make? ...or is it better/easier to install a third drive? I'm not even sure if adding a 3rd is an option for this model. I don't really have any experience with this sort of thing. Are there any good tutorials I should check out? Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm wanting to get Red Dead 2 but don't quite have the 150gb free on the ssd to install it.

You can add a 2.5' SSD and keep the drives you have now. Check to make sure you have the needed cables and adapter as pictured in this support site. Table 1.
