not an expert on AWCC but your problem might be a Windows feature thing.
try right click on AWCC in task manager and choose option “maximize”
the reason you are not seeing it on screen is because it is currently minimized.

You should also be able to load AWCC by double clicking (left button) on the alienware head in the bottom right taskbar.

You can't click start (bottom left), the Alienware Folder, and then Command Center?

Did you Right click on AWCC in Task Manager? First, Ctrl-Alt-Del and select Task Manager In Windows.

Wrong mouse button. Right clicking the taskbar's AWCC icon will not open AWCC. You need to left click twice fast. Left mouse button. Not right. Or you can open the AWCC program under the start menu like I noted above.

If I am not mistaken, AWCC is already open and running based on original presentation of symptoms. It is just minimized from screen and only seen in taskbar.
I still suggest Right Click on AWCC in Task Manager (not taskbar) to open a small pop up menu, and choose Maximize among a short list of options there. That pop up menu contains a number of options: Maximize, Minimize, etc.
press Ctrl-Alt-Del together, Windows should become a background blue screen (Desktop fades away) and Task Manager option should appear. Choose it.
The OP said “can not maximize”. That is true because when a running Windows app is minimized and only seen in taskbar, left clicking it in taskbar will not maximize it.

Or option #2 is open the Command Center program here by clicking on the start menu, bottom left of screen.

I have an Aurora R7 (same as OP) and either of the two options I provided will open AWCC on a proper functioning machine. Since he is able to access the AWCC shortcuts by right clicking the taskbar icon, it seems to be functioning normally.
There is no maximize or minimize option for AWCC via either right clicking on the taskbar or task manager. I just tried it.

This is what you see when you right click. Wrong button. Use the other button to open it. Push it twice fast, not once. Once does nothing.

Can you please post a screenshot pic of Windows Task Manager when you Right Click on AWCC?
I do not understand why you do not see a short pop up menu shown here.

I know what you are saying. I understand how to maximize a program from the task manager. The issue is the maximize option is only available for programs that are already open on the desktop and have been minimized to the taskbar. The alienhead stays in the task bar even when you x out AWCC. In other words, there's nothing to maximize.
