Aurora R7, power button stuck on red. What does this mean?

Hi all,

Recently I attempted to replace my top fan with the Corsair ML120 Pro. But was having all sort of issue when I ran the system diagnostic. I have since reverted back to the Nidec stock OEM fan. However, my power button light is stuck on red every since. It start with amber when I press and turn to red immediately. Any idea? Is there something wrong with the components that I think to take care?

Thanks,

You should be able to change the color from red to something else in AWCC.  Red is the default and is unrelated to the hardware you're using.  Getting stuck in amber and unable to boot is what you want to be worried about.

I tried changing color scheme using AWCC but the power button will always stay lid on red even though the sides changes color.

You might try checking that none of the cable connectors came loose when you installed the top fan.  The wire for the power button runs from the motherboard up through the side panel to the top of the PC.

Just checked the cable and it seems solid. I can live with the red color as long as nothing is wrong with the CPU/Motherboard.
