Aurora R7, Thermal Controller random fail
Hi,
I only recently un-boxed my Aurora R7, and I haven't really done anything with it yet other than update windows and install the odd steam-game or two. Randomly, I get a pop-up that says the following:

When this pop-up has occurred, I can't access the thermal controller tab in the "Command Center" anymore.
I've tried using Alienware's diagnostics and the supportassist software, but it did not find fault in my system.
I've tried telling the Command Center program to repair itself through control-panel, as I read that this was a potential solution, but this did not solve the issue.
The PC seems to be working fine regardless of this issue, but it is rather irritating.
Note - My issue appears similar, but distinctively different from issues other users have reported:
Other User's Post
Please respond only with solutions or relevant questions - not trying to be rude, but I'd rather focus on getting to the bottom of this.
To summarize a list of attempted solutions:
1) Problem persisted after windows updates and attempts at Alienware software updates
2) Problem persisted after program was prompted to repair itself
3) Problem persisted after using Alienware diagnostic and support-assist software.
4) Currently testing to see if complete reinstall of Command Center will solve problem...
I will keep this list up-to-date with attempted solutions.
Edit: Added 4th attempted solution

Hi @zunami!
Just to confirm, did you also try reinstalling the Command Center? If not, please try doing this following the steps on this video and downloading it here.

I had thought that telling the program to repair would have the same end-result, but I suppose I shall give it a try.
I have not attempted a total reinstall of the command center program - But as I do not know how to reproduce the issue, nor what circumstances the problem seems to occur around, I will simply have to wait and see whether the issue persists or not - I suppose I'll write back if the problem reoccurs, and until then, assume the problem solved.

A repair can help, but if it doesn't, we recommend doing a full re installation of the Command Center. That normally fixes certain errors or glitches that continue to occur.
Let us know if the problem occurs again or if you have any other problem. We will be glad to help!

I marked this as solved prematurely - the day after I Mark it this as solved, having done the full reinstall, the problem reappeared.
So in other words, the full reinstall of the application did NOT solve the problem.

Is the complete reinstall of AWCC the answer? I have a machine that wants to burn up when not attended.
Aurora R7 Overheating liquid cooled
Running average load running at 80-84 C with each GPU about 84-85 C
Walk away for 5-10 minutes, screen saver on, and machine is quiet. Restart windows CPU at 98-99C and fans take off. Will get back to temp within 3 minutes
4-22-20 @6:00 P went from 99 C on CPU to 86C in 3 minutes GPU’s at 83-84 C with no change during this time.
Maintaining temperature after working with machine, various programs and functions.
Support Assist locks up at Scan Hardware will not allow cancel, must go to Tack Manager to end program.
Periotic problem.
What does one do when there $4,000 machine wants to ignite.
