Aurora R7, which RTX 2080 Ti is compatible?

I want to upgrade from RTX 2080 to RTX 2080 Ti for my Aurora R7. However, I find that the interface of most RTX 2080 Ti is PCIe x16 which is not compatible with the  Aurora R7 (only PCIe x4 and PCIe x8 on board). Does anyone upgrade successfully? Which kind of RTX 2080 Tt do you choose? Thanks a lot!

I'm guessing you mean Aurora-R7 ?

Like the RTX-2080 ... the RTX-2080TI will also run in a x16 slot that is electrically wired to run at PCIe v3.0 x8 .

As Tesla corrected states, the 2080TI despite having an x16 interface will also work in a PCIe 3.0 slot wired at x8. On the other hand, what's more important is actual card length; some will be too long to fit in the R7's chassis so you'll have to make sure that whatever card you purchase is as long or slightly shorter than what it's replacing.

Or you will have to port the guts to a new case with more room.

I was thinking on this upgrade also but not sure it would suffice to sell my card GTX 1080 Ti 11GB's memory for the 2080 Ti
