Aurora R8, case's LED connectors broken

Hey Guys, I bought a used Aurora R8 a few days ago and was excited about it. But the left side case lights labeled 5, 6, and 7 on the FX are not turning on. I opened the case to clean and fix the issue and I noticed that one of the metal connectors that gets pressed on by the case was broken. I was wondering if it is the reason behind it not working? Are these connectors used as a power source for the lights? The power button led and the other side lights all work and is changeable from the FX. I was not able to open the top case so I could not diagnose further. Do you guys think it is the reason why it is not working or could it be something else? This is my first time working with a PC so don't have much knowledge. I have attached a pic below of my broken pin and a snip of what it would look like without it being broken from the internet.
