Aurora R9, BIOS 1.0.18

Ah yes, spring is in the air, the flowers are beginning to bloom and it's time for another BIOS update.

As usual, in order to get the latest and greatest security patches, I got out my trusty Rufus flash drive and

presto...updated to 1.0.18...and so far so good.

Noted for informational purposes only.

Best of Luck!

Just updated to 1.0.17 on 07 Mar 2022; my, how time flies.Just updated to 1.0.17 on 07 Mar 2022; my, how time flies.

Did you have to disable overclock feature in bios before the bios update? It’s been awhile since I did a bios update but I’m confident now using the flash drive method. Thanks

So, I see that on the drivers/updates page for the R9, that the 1.0.18 BIOS is gone and only the 1.0.17 update is available. Interesting.

Indeed, most interesting...apparently the reason for the removal is on a need-to-know basis, and the consumer does not need to know.
