Aurora R9, BIOS 1.0.26
As Santa Claus warms up his sleigh, Dell has a present for you, another BIOS update for the R9, allegedly chock full of new security patches. It even updates your Intel Management Engine Firmware, imagine that!

I'm on the fence. It's been months since the last BIOS Updae and if I recall 1.0.25 was rolled back and relaunched... I remember this because I ALWAYS check your posts.
The first 1.0.25 was in March? and another in July?
I did the one in March and left it. I didn't do the one in July or change it to July's 1.0.25.
That being said.. I'm SUPER on the fence of going from the March 1.0.25 to the new Dec 1.0.26.. I just don't know.

@Darqology
I personally try to plug all the holes that these security updates can seal. I was surprised to see this update even flashed the Intel ME firmware. I always update outside of Windows using my Rufus USB flash drive and haven't had any problems, but after doing twenty something BIOS flashes on my R9 I should have it down to an artform.
Dell list this as a "Critical" update, who am I to disagree.
If you do decide to update, I thought I saw something in the Dell instructions about going in order, so you may need to do the July version of 1.0.25 before 1.0.26.
Or...leaving things as they are is always prudent...as they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
Best of Luck!
