Aurora R9, no top cage?
Just bought a brand new aurora r9 case with mobo and psu, after acquiring all the parts I needed to complete the build I opened it up to find no top fan cage in the system for the aio to cool my new pc. Is this normal? Is there a way to mount it without the cage? Thanks in advance? If not I guess I’ll just have to get a different cpu cooler

Either look for the cage on eBay (one available now) or use a Dremel and put a 240mm radiator up top.

above are pictures of R9 top cage (BRKT,TOP SYS,COOLER)
although R9-12 chassis look different from R5-8 on the outside, they share some same design DNA. it is possible that the top cage for rad fan have the same design.
XP9P1 - NEW Dell Bracket Top Sys Cooler for Alienware Aurora R5, which may work for R9 too.
