There's a global shortage of both CPU and GPU's, to a point where the only viable way to get the latest GPU/CPU you are better off ordering a pre-build computer (Like an Alienware) instead of trying to source the items yourself. There's such a shortage of chips in general, that right now car manufacturers like Ford have to close plants and halt production of new vehicles, because they cannot get the electronic chips and parts needed to make their cars. If you can hold off on getting a new pc, I would, and wait until the end of this year to buy one. Prices right now are not in line with MSRP prices, and video cards and CPU's are selling for outrageous sums of money.
