An insect got between the glass substrate and it's now lodged itself dead in the center of the monitor, and you cannot get to it because the glass is in the way?

That is very interesting. I would contact DELL tech support and see if they can assist you. Very unique situation.

Run Deadpix and see if that fixes it
DeadPix can fix stuck or dead pixels by rapidly cycling the color value of the pixel. Please note that this tool does not provide a 100% success rate.

You can fix stuck pixels, dead pixels however are a fairly low chance of recovery

if its a beetle then you should be able to use a can of air and push it out?
its not inside the liquid part of the display its between 2 layers with a gap.
