@Shneks you were provided incorrect information. You don't need an Alienware PC to control the lights on your Alienware monitor.
There are two variants of AWCC (Alienware Command Center). One for Dell PCs (Alienware or Inspiron G5 desktop) and the Windows store generic version for non-Dell PCs.
Go here to get the AWCC Alienware Gaming Monitor Control Center driver 2.0.1.3 and then the supported AWCC for your AW2521HFL.
And then don't forget, AWCC will not recognize your AW2521HFL unless you connect a USB 3.0 upstream cable from the AW2521HFL to the PC.

Regarding the audio, i've been told the speakers only if you connect a device straight to it with a cable, and they don't act as built in speakers(which seems weird as my pc detects it as an audio device, but maybe it detects everything that way when connected via DP..)
And regarding the Alienware software not recognizing the screen, well.. the answer pretty much said that i need a DELL PC in order for it to work(didn't see it mentioned anywhere before buying, and also, who buys a gaming screen, and doesn't have a custom built PC..?)
Didn't have time to keep messing around with the cables, and honestly cba.
Love the screen, but pretty disappointed about the software.
Also this monitor has no built in speakers. Ther's an audio port, you have to connect headphones or a speaker to it in order to get sound (and select the monitor as the output)
Don't care about the audio honestly, could be nice, but it's not a deal breaker anyway, just wanted it for some YT vids when needed. It makes sense now.

@DELL-Cares any way to get the fix?
Same issue with the same monitor on a i7 R11.
Just won't detect it.
Thanks

Will try that, thanks!

It makes sense now.
Thanks again!
