AW3420DW, IPS Glow/Backlight Bleed
So I just bought this monitor, and I'm debating whether the light in the lower right corner is a little too strong or not. I can see it even when the screen is not black and I use this monitor for work as well as gaming. Most of the games I play are set in space so it really does make it an issue for me.
This is at 35% brightness, if I view from 6ft back you can still see the bottom left corner to some degree, and definitely the bottom right. The upper two are absolutely fine and even the lower left corner is fine. The bottom right I can see on everything.
I'm aware I have 30 days to return as well and that I will be playing the panel lottery and looking at the tolerance acceptance levels from dell, I'm guessing that this is within tolerance but I need to ask.

I had the exact same issue, they pretty much said it is what it is. Bottom right corner is just too annoying for me too, it grabs your attention while gaming, watching a movie, browsing or work. For this price I expected much better quality control. The purchase I was most excited about, turned out to be the most disappointing.

What did you do in the end, did you ask for a refund and try again with a different monitor brand? I went with Dell because I know how good their return policy is, and I too expected quality control to be top notch. I don't really want to have to live with this... but I'm not sure I want to hassle of tring to return it etc.

@Sephzer My return is on hold for other reasons, they haven't said no to the return yet. I'm not sure about their quality control anymore and their tech/service support was horrible, so if I return I will definitely go with another brand. That's my experience anyway, might be different for others.
