AW3423DW, flickering and random black flashes

On my one desktop (Nvidia 3080) the AW3423DW constantly flickers even when on a desktop and also when the brightness is not high. On my Dell laptop with a Dell dock it gets random black frame flashes. Drivers for all systems are completely up to date. Does anyone have any fixes? I have a RMA for the screen being smudged and the fan being loud but this is my monitor for work until the replacement comes.

* You need to disconnect ALL video cabling from the AW3423DW
* Then run the stand alone Built-in diagnostics. Page 73 in the online AW3423DW User's Guide
* Then send pictures of the panel showing the smudge and video of the flicker to DELL-Cares agents via Private Message

I've used every computer I've plugged into it with another monitor perfectly fine. Something is wrong with the monitor where it creates flickering and random black frames. Its not dead pixels that I'm looking for. Watch the video from twitter that I sent. I already have an RMA on the way but it says it will take until the end of August and I use this monitor for work.

Hello, I’m having the same issue, have you managed to fix it?

I am having this also. I have a AMD 6600XT and experiencing this quick flash. It also scrambles text in world. It is worse on my Alienware laptop with a 3060 in it. I have run the monitor as the primary or it really does it badly. I have run diagnostics and it didn't say anything was wrong. I am thinking about returning it 1100 is too much to have a monitor doing this.

I thought this could be related to my 3070 so I upgraded to a 4080 but still getting random flickering, although less frequent.

It's far more frequent on my work laptop (Dell Latitude 7420) plugged in via dock & HDMI.

Has this been fixed on subsequent revisions? Or is the only fix to swap out for an AW3423DWF?

Have you checked the frame time to see if you are dropping frames? Also, are you using HDR, or SDR mode? And thirdly, what cable and connection type are you using between the video and the monitor?
