AW3423DWF stuck in pixel refresh

I got a problem with pixel refresh mode. Seems like a bug in firmware.

So if I get the message that I need to do the refresh (every 4h of usage) and press yes, monitor goes into the refresh mode, power button is "breathing" green, and after couple minutes it turns off. All good here.

But if I select the option to do it during the standby, then turn off my PC, monitor will go into this refresh mode by itself. Problem is that power button keeps "breathing" forever. I left it overnight 8h+ and it keeps doing that. If I press the power button, green light around the button will go off, then I press it again, monitor turns ON, and "Panel Health" shows green, so I'm assuming the refresh was completed, it's just the monitor that never turned OFF.

Any ideas? Monitor firmware is up-to-date, factory reset doesn't do anything.

Small update:

Yesterday I noticed that there's a updated firmware for the monitor so I've installed it.

That means I moved from version M3B103 (that monitor came originally) to M3B105.

On the new firmware, it seems like this bug is gone.

(turn off computer, couple minutes and monitor goes into refresh, button is "breathing" green, after refresh done button is off).

I would have to check on mine, never paid attention to it. Should be white in standby mode

@Vanadiel I turned off all the lights, so my button is not lit up in standby/ON. It just gets stuck in "green breathing" when doing the panel refresh only if I select option to do the refresh during standby.

@user_6abea7 Can you try the default lighting and see if it stays stuck in green, or turns to white when finished.

@Vanadiel with default lighting, when refresh is finished, button changes from green breathing to white breathing (just like if it would be in standby mode). I still don't want any lights when I go to sleep, so I still believe that having stuck "green breathing" when all lights are turned off and refresh is finished is a bug in firmware

@user_6abea7 Could be, and it does sound like it. Piece of dark tape might "fix" it for now.
