AW3425DW, does not show screen in windows upon startup

Question

Hello, I recently ran into a problem with my Alienware AW3425DW 2 months after purchase. The monitor works fine with post and bios, but won't show the login screen for windows. If i log in while on my second monitor, the main monitor will also start working after about 10 seconds. but until then the Alienware monitor will be black with my second monitor flashing kinda like it wants to change to the Alienware monitor.

Things i have tried already

reinstalled and updated drivers
updated bios, (this seemed to fix it before it returned after one week.)
Messed around and tried different settings for VRR and freesync.
Switched DP cables with my second monitor

In Windows-11 (where you 'Extend' the second monitor), or you sure you have the correct one as Primary? For now, try turning off Start-Menu and lower Task-bar on secondary monitor. Switch the video-ports around so that the one that shows the BIOS-logo (that is video-port #1) is also your primary monitor where you want to login at.

@Tesla1856​ Yeah, the main monitor is set as primary. The ports are also connected the order of use (my main monitor is indexed as number 1). Another user suggested i DDU my GPU drivers, and that seems to have solved it for now atleast. I'll see if it lasts a few days without it reoccurring.

Nope, no luck. The issue seems to have gotten worse. Now it refuses to show anything until i disconnect every cable and leave it without power for a minute.

I suggest you try it by itself and/or on a different computer.

Try only the secondary-monitor of this main computer and see if that works.

Keep notes about which computers, monitors, and cables work or fail .... do some old school troubleshooting.
