Does Dell Update Bios Before shipping Pre Built PC’s?
Been hearing alot of bad things about the 13 and 14 gen intel processors. i was wondering if dell updates the bios on pre built pc’s before shipping their pc’s. Im new to pc gaming i just switched over from console gaming so i dont know a whole lot about what values (voltage,amps,temp,Etc) my components should be at for quality gaming with having longevity for my cpu (i91400KF) and my gpu (RTX 4090).

Prebuilt PCs are likely boxed and stored at warehouse or retail stores. It's very unlikely that anyone would open the box to check for a BIOS update.
If you are worrying about the Intel 13th, 14th gen issue, just check and update BIOS right after OOBE set up.

Yes, flash the BIOS asap to prevent damage.
It's really a shock Intel has been so careless lately...letting AMD get another jump in market share and actually releasing some pretty nice CPU's.
This is Intel shooting itself in the foot again.

@Element115s4 i just checked the bios and it says im on 2.12.0. i downloaded rust and checked my temps they were around 85c-95c

I'm assuming an Aurora R16.
Not to worry as v2.12 and 2.13 will keep you safe.
Ah...a 4090...enjoy while the rest of us dream :P
