Not sure what Alienware you are looking at, but I suggest you build it both ways.
Also,
- Join Dell Advantage Rewards first. - Look closely at the higher/better configs (sometimes on the second horizontal page). The discounts are usually deeper on those so you get more for less than ala-carte. :Cool:

There are NO DISCOUNTS that can be COMBINED to create a greater discount. So the answer is no.
