HELP: Upgrading Aurora R9

Hello! Thank you to everyone who has been helping me on this board you all are amazing. I have a question about my aurora r9 that I have been trying to fix for a couple days. I upgraded my r9 to have an intel 9900k, 2 fan RTX 2080TI and installed a corsair H60 liquid cooler. My pc will not cool down. it is sitting at coolest, 50 degrees with an average of 66 degrees on the CPU. I play death stranding for around 50 minutes maybe and it starts to go haywire and the fans sound so intense and my desktop is reaching 90C. I have new fans coming but I am wondering if that really will be enough. I removed the air cooling it had before for liquid cooling so I know I have lost a fan there but the stock fans it comes with are awful. Is this to be expected? My new fans get here Monday (CORSAIR ML120 MAG LEV FAN 2PK)

Probably need to get more airflow over the radiator.  The double fan GPU is also hurting the thermals.  The R9 case isn't designed for an open air GPU, that's recirculating hot air inside the case, which in turn is being used to "cool" the CPU.  

I'd suggested slapping two fans on the radiator, and then adding two fans to the front (second fan where the 3.5" HDD would be located).  If you have one, you can drop that down to the bottom of the PC, and lose the 2.5" caddies. 

Then bump up your fan curve to be more aggressive and set to load with windows.

Other thing to keep in mind, the OEM fans are server grade fans that move a lot of airflow, 149 CFM.  That is compared to 75cfm for the ML120.  Basically half the airflow. You sacrifice airflow for less noise.  It's a tradeoff.  To compensate you need to bump up the rpm of the corsair fans, especially with your setup.
