Size difference, OEM RTX 3080, retail 7900 XTX?
They say a picture says more than a thousand words.
It cools really well, but personally I think card sizes are getting out of control. That's a 4 slot card and it barely fit into my case. For case reference, that's a full size ATX motherboard and a Lian-Li Lancool II Mesh Performance case.
It's so heavy it needs a metal support bar...

Put the 3080 in my sons rig, so he's happy as he's jumping from a 1070 to a 3080. Worked like a charm on the MSI board, no issues.
For me, it's very nice to game at UW QHD 165 Hz with everything maxed out in Diablo 4 and sitting at around 42 C on air. And I am not done under-volting and tweaking the card. Even at over 500 Watts of power draw it manages to stay in the low 40's, which is pretty amazing considering that power draw.
