Warranty Renew with Support Assist

Hello, I just renewed my warranty for one year using the Support Assist client which directed to the Dell website. I got confirmation email and my credit card was charged. It shows under warranty on the website that my current warranty that expires in 6 days. And also shows the new warranty period that is good until October 2019. However the Support Assist app is not updating and keeps stating that my warranty is about to expire. Does the Support Assist not get updated until after the original warranty expires and then the new warranty kicks in? Or is there something wrong with Support Assist and it needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled?

As an update to this. I did an update install of the Support Assist software app. Now the app is not saying the warranty is about to expire. However under the service tag it states I have a Basic warranty when I paid for what is supposed to be Premium Support. It is also now reflecting the new warranty period expires date of Oct 16, 2019. So I guess it's halfway fixed with the warranty status.

Support assist should be considered malware in my opinion anyway...

Just an annoyance.
