X51 R2, upgraded GPU, doesn't fit?!
Hi all,
It very well could be that im being silly here, but i've just purchased an ASUS 960 GTX Mini (pictured below), though I cant seem to get it to fit into the X51 R2, with or without the metal chassis case bit. I've tried a bunch of different ways of getting it in, but bottom line i think due to the very square design of it, it just wont fit in right at all.
Can anyone can confirm
1 - Does this card fit?
2 - If it doesnt, is there an unofficial list of which 960's WILL fit into the X51 R2?

I swapped out a dual fan type 660ti (I know blowers are the preferred type).
I've put some pictures and a video comparison below, I think the boxy shape of the mini is what's preventing it from fitting, but something doesn't seem right here, like surely all blower types wouldnt fit in that case.....? Though on the mini it's like the card is offset from the rear grill plate, hard to explain.

bumping this, anyone recommend the best variant of the 960/1060 that will definitely fit?

I'd suggest trying to find a 'founders edition' or 'reference' card. As you mentioned, the blower style cards are best for the X51.
