Hello everyone,

I recently bought an HDMI switch in order to use both my PS4 and my X51 R3 on the same monitor which only has one HDMI port. It works pretty good but there's only one problem that affects my X51 R3 graphics card. When I turn on my PS4, I can hear the graphics card of my X51 R3 turning on and making some static noises. Sometimes even spinning up the fan. When this happens, the X51 R3 can't be turned on. It does this even when the external PSU is disconnected and seems like it's powered by the HDMI port itself. I know that the HDMI switch can work both for splitting HDMI signals and combining them. I don't know if that's of any help though.
