AlienFX help with non-official mouse

Can't be done. The TactX has a driver specifically built to work with AlienFX. While you could use the Alienware driver software if you wished, the TactX is actually inferior to the G9x so you would lose some of its functionality.

All that said, you don't need it because all that Alienware's software does is make the mouse appear in the AlienFX profiles so that you can sync it to your chosen theme. Doing that only makes the LED's light up in the same color as the Alienhead in the theme. If you were expecting special lighting FX on the mouse itself, forget it, that's not how the TactX mouse operates. In short, your Logitech software will allow you to select the color of your choice anyway so you aren't missing out on anything. :)

Okay, thanks. It just would've been convenient to change the colour scheme between my x51 and the mouse at the same time, but it doesn't really matter. I will just have to go into each control panel and change the colours that way. Thanks for the help!
