Alienware 17 r2 stuck on alien logo
My alienware laptop had to have an update, after it was done it wouldn't boot all the way. I've drained the battery and did the f2 and f12 things. It starts up loads the alien, then the screen goes black and goes back to the alien logo. It keeps on repeating that.

I ran a diagnostic tests but nothing was wrong with it. The alien screen just keeps on looping.

Try running an ePSA/Diagnostic test on the system, click here to view a Dell article that explains how to run this test. Let us know if you receive any errors.

Hi,
If possible, try connecting an external monitor to the system to confirm if you see that same looping on the external display.
