Alienware 18 HDMI input does not work in 720p?
Hi, so I'm trying to connect PS3 to my Alienware 18. Console starts fine in 1080p but when I try to run a game which supports 720p only the video signal does not go through to my laptop's screen. In other words I see my desktop instead of a game screen. Is this because 720p is not possible for Alienware 18?

when i connect my ps4 to my alienware 18 through hdmi it switches back to desktop screen and then back to hdmi with a mind of its own. I recently discovered if i switched the ps4 display settings from automatic to 720 p it works great. I also tryed 1080p had same problem and 1080i doesnt work at all. Try different display settings.
