Alienware Alpha switching back to game mode
I would like to switch back and forth from game mode to desktop mode. How do I go back to game mode?

Hi,
If you click on the Steam icon in your desktop, there should be an option to make it switch to Console mode on the top right.

No, that is big picture mode. I'm trying to play Civ 5 on this Alienware. This is pretty frustrating because the driver isn't working. I get a .dll error saying "D3D Device was removed due to DXGI_Error_DEVIS_HUNG, this usually indicates a bad device or may indicate bad hardware. Big Picture must exit". What does this mean?
Simultaneously I get a Message "NVIDIA Device Driver Kernel 362 not working".

Buying Alienware was a mistake. I cannot now switch to Console mode from Desktop mode to play games. Upgrading to Windows 10 meant my games wouldn't work. They're encountering driver failure. When I try to switch to Console mode it asks for password then says "Console Mode has stopped working".

Hi,
Try reinstalling the Hivemind Interface software. Uninstall it first from the Programs and Features list, then restart the system and install it again.

There is no such thing as a Hivemind Interface Software in the Programs and Features list. I checked. Why?
AlphaUI 1.9.9.9 is that the same thing? On my computer it is named but it says the software doesn't exist!
