Alienware Aurora R3 No display / Lights
Hello Alienware Community,
Earlier today my Alienware desktop (R3) was working perfectly fine. I hadn't dusted out the inside for a while so I decided to do so. Before I dust I remove the power cable and press the power button to drain power from the machine. I then opened up the case and dusted as usual with a sprayer and an electronics dust wipe. As I was doing this, I remember briefly and lightly brushing up against one of the RAM sticks, but didn't think anything of it. I reassembled the computer and turned the machine on--the computer was now beeping twice at intervals ("beep beep, beep beep"). There was no display.
I looked this issue up online and the consensus was that it was a RAM detection failure, and that I should try removing and reinstalling the RAM. I removed the RAM stick that I lightly hit earlier and turned the machine on. This time there was no beeping but the display was still missing and the side LED lights on the machine did not light up. The fans are working and power is definitely present in the machine--just no display or lights.
I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with this issue or provide some insight as to what I should do to get my computer operational again. I need it for school!

Unplug and drain power like before.
Temporarily remove extra PCIe cards.
Re-seat all RAM sticks, video card, power plugs to motherboard ... pretty much everything except CPU.

Both 2 beep and 4 beep are ram related.
Try with one DIMM is lowest number slot. Try known good ram dimm in machine.
Might try a BIOS cmos reset.
Any number of things could have happened.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately when I removed and reseated the RAM and video cards and then rebooted the PC, the "beep beep, beep beep" came back and still no display. It says this is related to RAM issues in some way. Why would this have happened if I was simply dusting the machine? I've done it many, many times before with no problems.
