Alienware x51 r2, preparing automatic repair on startup

Hey, so my Alienware x51 r2 was having the black screen problem and after I tried to resolve the issue and nothing  would work, I did a system restore, and in the middle of it, the power cable fell out. Now whenever I go to turn it on it gets stuck on preparing automatic repair and shuts down and starts the cycle again.

Anything helps, and if it matters it's still under warranty.

Thanks

Hi,

To better assist you, please confirm which Windows operating system you are running with your Alienware.

Thank you for confirming this. Try to access the recovery options by pressing the right Shift + F8 keys during boot. If you are able to access the recovery options, it may give you an option to do a System Refresh or System Restore. You could try doing a System Refresh, if that does not work, try the System Restore again.

Hmm, it seems I can't get into it, before I tried putting in the windows 8.1 recovery media disk to do a system restore, but it said I was missing a partition?

Thanks for confirming this. Check in the Bios under Boot and make sure the Boot Mode option is set to UEFI, also make sure secure boot is disabled, save these changes and restart the system. If the system continues to do the same thing, Windows may have corrupted the partitions on the Hard Drive, since you cannot boot into the operating system, we recommend doing a clean installation of Windows using the media that you may have received.
