Alienware X51 Restore
How do I restore my machine back to factory default? My last alienware had an app called Alienware Spawn which I used but I don't see anything like that on this machine?
Do I have to wipe it out from stratch?
What is the EFI System Partation? Is it safe to delete? Also what is the DellUtlity Paration used for? Is that safe to delete?
If I have to redo from stratch what do I have to do?

Hi Natalia,
I put a hard disk in the X51 (of 2 TB), i have changed the boot option into the bios (CD before HARDDISK) and that's all i have do nothing which cause this effect

LL means it's too low or not detected. If it was too high, it would say HH.
Everything else looks ok.
PG at 350ms is likely ok (good PS usually reads 100-500)

Alienware X51 has a problem -12V & 12V2 disappear !

My problem is, i cant see the bios unless i use a dvi input, but the problem is i cant find a monitor that has a dvi port and i cant find a dvi cable itself, so i cant do anything and ii have been struggling with this pc for a long time, i just wanna put it back to the way it was

Hi, imgodlybro. If you use the top HDMI which is the intel HD, you won't be seeing bios boot up.
You gonna use discrete card (nvidia) port which is bottom (mine has HDMI, DVI, and Display Port) so that you will see the bios screen.

does anyone can help me here? i just bought alienware x51 yesterday and today i accidently format the system without any backup.. is there any way that i could restore my alienware like the 1st it came (factory setting)?

hey it works.. thanks a lot.. but now i got another problem.. my monitor always go blank and say
"Entering Power Save Mode" what is the problem? can help me?

I started getting this recently as well. Not sure what is causing it, happens sporadically, when I launch a program, alt + tab... But primarily when I launch a program, I have dual monitor set-up and both monitors going into powersaving mode, they come back on shortly after - just a slight annoyance.
