How do I move storage space from D drive to C drive?

Help - I am not techy at all. My Alienware laptop C drive was set up with just a small fraction of my storage space on my computer when I got it and it is running out quickly. I tried to just use my D drive (which has over 700gb of storage space free) to play games directly from, but my alienware will not do that. It keeps just rewriting the games onto my C drive before I can play them. I have tons of music on my D drive so I don't want to merge the two like I've seen suggested online, because that wipes the whole D drive. Isn't there some easy way to just tell my computer to move say 300gb of free space from D to C? The answers I've seen online get very technical and I was unable to follow those instructions. Is there a simple way to do this?

Since your technical skills are admittedly lacking, it will likely be impossible for someone to help you from a forum. You should have been able to follow online guides (or learn to).

Using your term, have one of your "techy" friends or relatives drop by to help you or let them TeamViewer with you if you REALLY, REALLY, TRUST THEM.

Calling Dell Phone Support might be an option, as is calling someone like GeekSquad.
