{MOVED}Alienware m14x USB 3.0 quit working.
Hi,
I was recently editing some video off of my USB 3.0 hard drive which was connected through one of my computers USB 3.0 ports. When I woke up in the morning the ports weren't working. I have tried disabling and enabling the drive as well as uninstalling and installing the drives.
In device manager this is what it says:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Device Timeout}
The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired.
I am sort of running out of ideas as what to do.
Any help would be grateful! Thanks!

Hi Swartschenhimer,
Check if you have reinstalled the correct drivers for USB 3.0.
Click on the following link to install USB 3.0 drivers:
http://dell.to/10Xt4rK
Note: Uninstall the USB 3.0 drivers before installing the drivers.
For more information regarding the error code, refer below link:

I uninstalled all my USB drivers and reinstalled with that driver, which is what I used before.
It still is not working but it changed something around. In device manager the flagged USB port was called Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller and had the error code 10.
Now, after the reinstall, that has been changed to USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller and has this error code:

The flagged USB is changed back to Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller and still has the error code 10

I followed the first link and reinstalled my BIOS and that correct the problem!
Thank you so much!
